Remembering Johnny Cash

September 12: Today is the ninth anniversary of the loss of Johnny Cash. Instead of dwelling on the sadness of this day, we’ve chosen to look back at one of the most light-hearted moments in the career of the Man in Black, which shows his sense of humor — the 1966 Columbia release “Everybody Loves A Nut.” This release features songs such as the title song, “Dirty Old Egg-Sucking Dog,” and the classic “The One On The Right Is On The Left.” Here is the cover to that LP, illustrated by Mad Magazine’s Jack Davis.
