More From Gospel Music Hall Of Fame Ceremony

The Tennessean and Country Weekly have both published reports about this week’s ceremony to induct the legendary Johnny Cash into the Gospel Music Hall Of Fame. In an interview before the event, Johnny’s sister Joanne said, “As children growing up on the cotton farms of Arkansas, I remember him telling me, ‘I’m gonna be a gospel singer.’ All of our lives we were raised to love the Lord and sing gospel music. Tonight I believe he’s watching us and … it would be the highlight of his life.”
