Johnny Cash Will Be Honored By Rock HOF at 21st Annual Music Masters Series

JohnnyCash_MusicMatters

The musical legacy of Johnny Cash will be saluted by the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame and Case Western University for the 21st annual Music Masters Series, a week-long event which hits Cleveland, Ohio in October and culminates with the Music Masters concert on October 21st.

A highly influential figure for country and rock musicians alike, the Man in Black entered the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in 1992, two years before his American Recordings collaboration with Rick Rubin would introduce him to an entirely new audience. A 1980 inductee to the Country Music Hall of Fame, Cash is one of a small handful of artists to be welcomed by both institutions.
